Unique "Screwless" Membrane Frame for Quick and Easy Membrane Replacement
This Unique system uses a serrated cam extrusion to press the rubber membrane against a solid aluminium wedge. The harder the rubber is stretched, the tighter it grips. This completely eliminates the need for screws or adhesive and the time consuming process of punching holes through the rubber to line the screws with threaded holes.
Our system also grips the rubber membrane consistently, along the whole length of the frame unlike other systems which only apply pressure at the screw with the risk of the rubber pulling out between the screws.
The hinged base plate locks the membrane in place but also provides a fixing for the gasket. This twin walled silicone gasket locks the membrane frame down against the platen under its own dedicated vacuum circuit.

Twin Walled Gasket Guarantees Airtight Seal
The twin walled extruded silicone gasket, moulded with rounded corners for strength and durability clips onto the aluminium frame without screws. When in contact with the platen, the air is removed from between the two walls and acts like one continuous vacuum cup for locking down the frame - guaranteeing an airtight seal. This does away with the need for clamps.

Multi Holed Platen for Uniform Air Evacuation
The multi-holed, compact laminate platen ensures uniform air evacuation without the risk of a pattern developing from the routered groves seen on the platens of other vacuum presses.

Fast Maintenance Free Vacuum Pump
The BenchPress is fitted with a 40m3/hr, dry running, rotary vane vacuum pump for fast and efficient air evacuation. This single phase, high quality, German made pump simply plugs into a socket on the wall, ready for use right off the lorry. 

A Choice of Natural Rubber or Silicone Rubber Membranes
The tough and elastic 2mm thick rubber membrane is securely fixed to the aluminium frame. Unlike a bag system or a boxed membrane press, the membrane will not get trapped underneath. This makes our AirPress Vacuum Membrane Press ideal for one person operation. An optional silicone membrane is available for hot pressing.

Exceptional Performance and Design
As with all AirPress products our flagship Vacuum Press combines robust efficiency with aesthetic design. The large section, extruded aluminium front and back rails provide structural stablility. The front rail functions as a vacuum reservoir to pilot the two vacuum valves. The powder coated steel support stand comes with useful shelves and is mounted on Tente castors for easy movement when needed
