The BenchTop Vacuum Membrane Press
The BenchTop Press is one of the latest products to be developed by Peter Hoggard at AirPress. It was designed to bridge the gap between the low cost portable vacuum bag system and the more expensive BenchPress series.
By producing an all in one moulded design, this new press costs almost a third of a similar sized press without compromising its high performance.
As the name suggests, it can be placed on a benchtop and has a maximum pressing area of about 1000 x 650mm making it ideal for schools and colleges, musical instrument makers, box makers and other woodworkers who want the versatility and ease of use of a vacuum membrane press at an affordable price. It can also be used for thermoforming Corian and other acrylic based, solidsurface materials.
To run the BenchTop Press, simply connect your existing vacuum pump or alternatively select from the new Platinum range of efficient, high quality pumps available at AirPress.
