AirPress uses the best quality Vacuum Pumps for veneering and laminating across their complete range or their Vacuum Pressing Systems, providing reliability and efficiency for the process of veneering high quality wood veneer and laminating curved panels.

It is important to use a high quality vacuum pump when veneering and laminating. Our dry running, maintenance free, rotary vane Vacuum Pumps can be purchased with or without tubular steel frames. These high quality pumps are rated for continuous duty and make for efficient and reliable veneering and laminating.

Our Vacuum Pumps are very different from the cheap imported oil filled pumps which invariably expel an oily mist into the atmosphere, can leak oil and spoil expensive veneers, and require constant topping up of the oil.

Our compact, 4m3/hr Standard AirPress Vacuum Pump comes fitted to a tubular steel carrying frame. This Vacuum Pump is popular with the smaller workshop, school or amateur woodworker.

The 8m3/hr Professional AirPress Vacuum Pump comes fitted to a tubular steel carrying frame and is aimed at the professional woodworker. AirPress fit the Pump with 2 Vacuum Ports so that 2 bags can be used at the same time.

The 16m3/hr Industrial AirPress Vacuum Pump is fitted to the AirPress tubular steel frame with castors for easy manoeuvrability. This fast Vacuum Pump can run four of the largest bags at the same time for multi-bag pressing.

We recommend our super-fast 40m3/hr Industrial Vacuum Pump when pressing with our Self Assembly BenchPress Vacuum Membrane Press. This enables fast evacuation of the air from within the rubber membrane to minimise pre curing of the adhesives.
